About the Repository

The LondonMet Repository serves London Metropolitan University as the open access repository for the institution’s research output created by staff and research students.

Digital versions of research papers are made available to anyone who wishes to access them and can be read and cited by all.

The LondonMet Repository uses the EPrints platform and allows staff to follow a self-archiving mechanism.

The post-2014 REF

IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR SUBMISSION TO THE NEXT REF, ARTICLES AND CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS MUST BE UPLOADED NO LATER THAN 3 MONTHS AFTER BEING ACCEPTED BY A PUBLISHER*

*HEFCE has published a policy for open access in the post-2014 REF. It is a requirement that from 1st April 2016 all journal articles and conference proceedings with an International Standard Serial Number must be made open access within three months of acceptance of publication. This is achieved by depositing the author accepted manuscript (AAM) not the final published version. The policy does not apply to book chapters.
